Dr. Dilan Ellegala

Founder and Surgeon-In-Chief of Sonospine®

Dr. Dilan Ellegala, Surgeon-in-Chief of Sonospine®, suffered with lower back pain for years. Two months after working with Ben Crosswhite, he was pain free and has been ever since (as long as he does the exercises). Experiencing the results firsthand motivated Dr. Ellegala and Mr. Crosswhite to develop a postsurgical spine strengthening program specifically tailored for those patients who wish to take their recovery to the next level; to not just get well, but to be better than ever!*

Ben Crosswhite

Owner, and Trainer of Crosswhite Fitness

“We believe in Sonospine® more than any other spine surgery because we have seen the outcomes firsthand. However, even this minimally invasive procedure can be damaging to the muscles around it. This stress is often coupled with not being able to exercise for months or years due to back or neck pain, resulting in general deconditioning and paraspinal weakening. This becomes a critical point of why strength training those affected areas improves the support and functioning of the myofibril contractions.”

We take pride in being the best recognized personal trainers and exercise physiologists by physicians in Southwest Virginia. Each one of us cares deeply about getting you Back To Life and Back To Sport!

*NOTE: This is not in lieu of physical therapy after surgery but after formal therapy has ended.
